My plastic P365 non gun
Just learned today I own a non gun according to some, cause it’s plastic. Only 1300 flawless rounds through the best compact nine out there, new or used.
This is my chosen EDC with a safe full of guns to choose from. Who else carries a non gun? Post em up.

Bought my second one about a week ago (two is one and one is none); got Sig ambi holster for $20 - being LH, finding anything decent and inexpensive is rare.
Now, to just lose some weight for better concealment!
Both have been flawless with a wide range of weights and brands.

I have had my P365 for over a year with no problems and noticed the other day that Sig came out with the NRA Edition P365 in Dark Desert Earth. Pretty cool if you ask me.

I tried to like it but like many plastic pistols I just didn't dig it for some reason. I'm the outlier to most of my shooting friends and family. I'm glad they have run well for all of you as I'm a big sig fan. My current carry is a sig p238 legion and it's a fine pistol. My neighbors father-in-law bought my 365 from me and he is most satisfied with it as well!

I've had mine a couple of months now with no malfunctions to report. Approaching 1,000 trouble free rounds fired and growing more confident in the gun with each one.
I'm trying pocket carry using a DeSantis Nemesis with good results so far. I probably will get another holster in the future. I bought the 12 rd. magazine and I now have what I think is a winning combination.
As far as "Non Gun"..........it's NonSense.

P365
Hello All
I picked up a P365 about 6 weeks ago two trips to the range 4 brands of hollow points & 2 brands of ball no failures.
The 12 round mag works also.
I use a Tommy Thies IWB hybrid holster.
I like a semi auto that will run all brands of ammo (i have to try other brands) this gun for me is a winner and very easy to conceal.
Accurate and recoil is no problem. Not my favorite handgun I own but favorite to carry.
The date on the box was March 2019 and I got it early April so they are not sitting around on shelves it seems.
YMMV !!!

That 12 round mag just fits my hand perfectly;and is still small for concealment.

A lot more power than a .38 snub with over twice the capacity and with a FAR faster reload. The smallest 9mm package around in double stack, seems the kinks’ve been worked out on them, it’s on the short list for my CCW for sure.

Got mine about 9 months ago. No issues, no problems - it just runs. Easy to carry and easy to shoot. I used to have a carry rotation of about six or so different guns depending on where I was going, what I was wearing, etc. Now I just carry one.

I have a few Sigs and like them just fine. Haven’t tried a 365 yet, but I’m not that partial to any of the striker fired guns. Guns are tools, like hammers. Whether it’s an Estwing, or a Harbor Freight Special, it still bangs a nail adequately. I just think you’re more likely to smash your thumb with the Harbor Freight version

I have a non carry rotation of one. Don’t need another.

Bought mine in January. I have posted previously I am not a huge fan of the 9 mm cartridge but the more research I have has convinced me I need to look past my misgivings. I think with the Critical Duty ammunition I will be well served.
I qualified with it and will carry it off duty, especially when I need a discreet sidearm.

Us old timers have to remember the world is changing, better products being produced on a daily basis.
When it comes to firearms, I know you know your stuff.
Enjoy that SIG, I enjoy my little guy although it is not plastic.

My P365 has been my EDC for about 6 months now. I've fired 1,750 rounds of all brands, weights and even hand-loads - not one single problem! Mine was built in October of 2018 - LOVE IT!

1300 rounds doesn’t demonstrate reliability. Get back to me when you reach 100k.

Haven't shot mine since yesterday. Put another 100 rounds through it flawlessly. I think I have around 600 or 700 through it now, and nary a hitch.

One day, I went to use my Glock 30S, and milk came out of it. Apparently, they didn't dump all the milk out when they used a milk jug to make the gun...hyuk-hyuk-hyuk-hyuk.
I like the gun, but, I've never been able to LOVE it. See?

Problem is that I'm already outfitted for the Sig 938. Been my only carry gun for a couple years. Can't see starting over. If I wasn't geared up already, that 365 would be high on the list.
I do own ONE non pistol that I recently purchased, so add me to the club.

SIG 365
I too bought one that was made in March of this year. It's the best right out of the box gun, that I ever purchased, Accurite for a small gun, holds 12 rounds with the optional magazine, no problems with the 500 plus rounds that I have fired out of it. Qualified with it this month without any problem. I love it and carry it all the time in my Tex Shoemaker N14TB, G42 holster. Great gun.
Only criticism is that they advertised it with a thumb safety at the Shot Show in January, and those models are still not available for sale yet. Factory service dept says after the summer. I will buy that model when it becomes available, and sell the one that I have.

With OWB / IWB choices...Holsters are made by VersaCarry and also have a CrossBreed IWB. Love this little gun and agree with the others the 12rnd mag is perfect fit. Very accurate in a defensive yardage.

MY LGS AD
The MA compliant version of the Sig Model 365 is expected to arrive in July or August according to our sources at Sig.
We have placed a large order for the MA 365. No selling price at this time

There's always somebody who will buy your Sig mistakes. You don't have to look very hard. My neighbor buys mine. All I have to do is tell him it's a Sig 9 or 45. He owns a slug of them, way more than me.

Along the lines of the 365, has anyone seen the manual safety version that was announced in the spring?

I'd bet that Sig is extra super careful in the production of the new P365's. They fixed all the parts that were causing havoc and now the last thing they need is a repeat performance. It's like a restaurant that serves you a bad meal when you are a good customer.
The P365 has changed the face of the micro - 9's. While Glock has some small guns, none have the capacity, the great sights and the great concealment capability ALL in one package! IMHO Glock MUST be burning the midnight oil to come up with a serious competitor for this gun. Even though Mossberg did an admirable job with their new mini 9, it STILL lacks the primary advantage which is capacity.

The best little semi I have ever owned. #1 has about 5000 rounds fired and is carried daily.

To add to the confusion, if this link is correct, Sig is introducing a longer barreled version of the P365.

There may be a reason the 5 shot snubbie is so successful for so many years. Simple but effective.

I can’t find any other news media outlet, including any in Minneapolis, that reported this “story . . . “, other than reprinting the linked blog post.
Edit: Real media outlets, along with Snopes, have confirmed that the headline is at least misleading and at most an outright lie . . .

I don't have one yet. I've been on a revolver buying kick...all because of this place. I'm still carrying my ancient Shield 9. I'll get a 365 unless something comes along I like better. I love steel guns, but I'm not going to carry one.

I've had a ccw for over 30 years and a gun safe with many concealable handguns to choose from (compact .45, 9mm, .380, .38, etc.). My P365 is now my EDC over my other 2 favorites (M&P9C and G43). No regrets and just ordered the new 15 rd. mags.

Interesting. I wonder if that 15 rd mag will fit the current short barreled 365?
I just read your post above Frank...is that what you have?

Don’t think that 15 will go in my pocket without alterations.

I'll probably pick one up when they come out with a Legion model, now that SIG has expanded the Legion to one of the plastic models. I imagine it will probably come with 3- 12 round mags, which is the only comfortable mag.
