Default Rimfire Magnum SA's

Out of all of the rimfire threads I have seen on here, I've yet to see anyone post a Brno 611. I'm lucky enough to have 2 of them, one NIB and the other as my shooter. The serial number data that I've collected over the years shows that they were made from 93-99 with the years 97-98 of no production. The highest serial number that I have collected leads me to believe that there were only approximately 12k of these made for distribution world wide. Brno Arms was having trouble in the early 2000's and the 611A was the result. The 611A was the lower quality version with shortcuts in manufacturing, some stamped internal parts, rear sight sweated on instead of machined, etc...I had one of these as well but let it go.

CZ came out with a 22 mag SA a few years ago and I was somewhat let down. Instead of a steel and walnut rifle, it's a hybrid polymer/aluminum receiver with a walnut or beech stock.
Sort of reminded me of the Daisy Powerline from years ago. I suppose I'm an old fuddy duddy but I know what I like and it ain't plastic. I was surprised that CZ would do something like that with their SA 22 cal rifles.

Some years back a local shop had one of the 1990's vintage BRNO ZKM .22 Magnum autoloader rifles. I was very tempted but it was missing the front sight and magazine. At the time I searched for mags and couldn't find one at any price so I passed on the rifle. I got curious after seeing this post and there are some magazines for sale on Gun Broker but the price will make you faint. Nice guns, I wish I could have bought one.

Yeah, the prices for these magazines are a little ridiculous, Gunbroker is the last place I would go. Ebay isn't as bad but they are still high. CZ had some made up a couple years ago and quickly sold out. I ran across a couple 10 rounders a few years ago at a gun show and got them for 10 bucks a piece. Kinda felt like a thief..
