Beratta Model 21-A
I had no good reason to buy this little .22, but could not
resist. CCI mini mags makes it run just right

I've had one for about 5 years. I only shoot mini-mags & stingers. Keep it real clean. Do those two things and it will always go bang!

I've got 200 rounds of mini mags through it with a hiccup. I agree on keeping
it clean, a must for any .22 auto.

I had one for quite a few years, but was never impressed with the accuracy. Earlier this spring when cleaning it, I took a magnifying glass and took a good look down the bore. The rifling was so thin I'm sure it didn't engage the bullets very well. I sold it and didn't look back. I liked everything about the little gun but the accuracy.

Not much of a reason to buy one except that a person can never have too many .22s.

Mine dislikes Mini-Mags.
It prefers Remington Thunderbolts or other cheap lead-bullet
ammo.
Go figure.

I have 3, one I've had for over 15 years. When I got it, it would only cycle mini-mags. When I took a part there was stamping flash on the edges of all the stamped parts, mostly the recoil arms, they were dragging on the frame slowing everything down. It was one of the early ones, and I got it cheap cause it was so unreliable.
I stoned all the edges, used some cold blue, cleaned everything up. After I was done done I ran 5 magazines of mixed rounds through it doing 'tactical reloads', it will cycle anything I put through it now. The other 2, I didn't have any issues with, but I knew what to look for if I did.
It's been my BUG for years, but my BG .380 isn't much bigger so its been winning.

I didn't have much success with lead bullets, mine seem to prefer jacketed hollow points....

I traded mine when the Kel-Tec .380 came out.
The Kel-Tec fits the CCW role better, but I shoulda kept the Beretta.

Great little guns. The tip up barrel enables you to chamber a round without ever racking the slide. Also it can be carried hammer down, half cocked or cocked and locked.

I had one a long time ago. Carried it as a bug in an ankle holster,
loaded with Stingers. Don't remember why I traded it off. Just
call me Crazy.

I had one long ago. Carried as a bug, and sometimes as the only gun. It was reliable for about 500 or 600 rounds then it became a one or two shot gun before jamming. No amount of cleaning or using different ammo would cure this. Practically gave it to a dealer on trade for something else. (Do not remember what). Have not even looked at another Beretta since then.
