Default Almost too good to be true

Ruger LCP Viridian Laser 380 ACP 2.8" 6+1Rds $249.00 +shipping and tax

New, as is - no exhange or refunds. The seller has 243 of them.

Am I missing some thing? It sounds like a great deal.

That's the old LCP so I imagine they want to clear them out as quickly as possible.

It's a good deal.

Lots of good deals lately. A couple days ago Palmetto had the LCP for $179 free shipping. And for about a month they were selling the S&W BG with laser for about $250 figuring in the rebate if IIRC.

Not a bad price. I see new standard model LCP's going for about $200 around here, so about $50 more for the laser sight.

But, isn't that the laser model that requires a holster with magnets to keep it off, and is instant on when drawn from the holster? Don't know if I like that feature. I'd rather be able to control it with a pressure pad, like a Crimson Trace. I also believe that laser is red, not the brighter, more expensive green model.

Still, not a bad price, and I have nothing but praise for the old style LCP. Mine (sans laser) has been nothing but reliable, and rides in my pocket almost every day.

My only reservation is that Viridian do not show that laser on their website. Old model?
