I don't EDC any fixed blades but years ago I never went out without a Case pheasant knife on my belt. One year I gave it to a friend, now deceased, so I never saw it again. The picture here is from the Web. (c) Revcontent and Google (I think.)

The two Damascus knives are short blades that are not hard to carry, especially the "fat" one due to the useful sheath. The smaller knife's sheath is polymer and hard to use.

The Arno Bernard is also small, easy to carry on a belt, and I have often done that but not recently. Funny thing, I was wearing it to a doctor's visit one day a couple of years ago and the doc saw it and asked me, "Is that your answer to open carry?".

I have a number of other fixed blade knives not pictured but then there are the bayonets......

I am uncertain what kind of advice you need. If you are interested in wearing a knife on your belt make sure you understand the laws of your state and, if you travel, know the laws of the states you go to. When in doubt, never wear a large knife.

Some of my other fixed blade knives are hunting knives. Some folks use folders when they hunt but fixed blades are easier to clean.

I just bought a Gerber Prodigy Tanto full tang for an EDC. Steel is only 420HC but thick blade and looks nasty. 4 3/4 inch blade oxide coated. Paid $48 online. For defense not bad at all. Partially serrated blade too.

Default Wingriderz ...

... I have one fixed blade knife I used to carry before I got my concealed carry permit. Looking back on it, I may not have been legally carrying it all the time.

It was a CRKT Sting. It's a solid steel knife that is black powder coated and about 6.85" long altogether. It came with a sheath that you could attach to your belt horizontally and it held in place via friction very well.

Here's a link to it: STING™

It's a nice knife and I still have it, but now that I have a Bodyguard 380 I just carry a Kershaw folder in my right back pocket. Oh and I don't leave the house without a Swiss Army Knife. I've got a half a dozen of them that I carry depending on where I'm going or what I'm doing. I keep a Leatherman in my car and truck all of the time, just in case. Thinking on that I've never had to use either of the Leathermans because neither our Ford Sport Trac or our Mercedes CLK550 have ever broken down on the road. I think that is a combination of well-made vehicles and doing routine maintenance, LOL!

Anyway, the Sting is a nice knife, very durable being all steel construction and a single piece of steel at that. Oh, and it holds a very nice edge to boot.

Stay safe shooting~

This little Anza used to ride in my front pocket. It is a tough little working knife, made from a file. I never liked to wear a knife on my belt. You can still get something similar with a handle in natural canvas micarta. These days, I am just as likely to drop a mora 612 or Companion in the pocket, or in a rear pocket. Bigger knives but light, and not too obtrusive.

A few that I pocket carry.
I prefer the non-leather 'plastic' sheath.
I have had blades cut through leather sheathes and cut my pickup seat and me.
Not a happy camper either time!
