Default Colt Anaconda In Town

I collect Colts a little bit, but this one is just not my thing. I've been told they only made them for around 10 years. It's stainless steel and has the standard longer barrel. Big gun! Looks like you could put wheels on it and pull it behind your pick-up truck. No box. Just the gun. I've been told it's on consignment and out for $2000. I'm sure there's a little wiggle room here since it's been out for a month now. Located in downtown Milledgeville at Baynes. If it was a Python, I'd be all over it making offers. I just don't care for the big Colt 44's. If there are any Colt collectors out there, you can look up a phone number on the internet and give them a call. Just thought I'd pass it along.

Wink

I have two Colt Anaconda revolvers with 6" barrels. One in 44 Magnum and the other in 45 Colt. Both are amazingly accurate with either lead or jacketed bullets.

I agree that the Anaconda and King Cobra guns aren't much to look at.

I passed up a Anaconda a few months back, the guy was desperate for cash wanted $1200. I still regret passing that deal up. Since then I see them going about $1600 - $1800. I have a 629-4 in 5" so I'm not .44 magnumless.

I have begun to pass on most Colt DA revolvers.
Colt will no longer take repair orders.
Timing has near always been a concern for me anyway.
Finding a good, local Colt smith is difficult.

Every thread needs a picture so I'll offer up a photo of my .44 mag Anaconda.
