Default Guns you want are like London buses...

... you wait half an hour for a bus and then three turn up all at once. Rolling my eyes in frustration here.

Bought a Kahr CW9 package from CDNN for $300. Haven't shot it yet but it feels great in my hands, maybe better than my LC9S. Both are just a little big for pocket carry IMHO, unless I am wearing cargo shorts.

This week the CM9 went on sale for the same money and goodies. Yes, I know pocket 9mm pistols can be ugly to shoot, but I probably would have got the CM9 for the days when my clothes make the LC9S a non-starter. I should point out my build is rather svelte, making concealment an issue. Right now my pocket carry is a LCP.

Naturally, the deal did not appear until I was committed to buy a SR-22 and an Enfield revolver. Nice guns, and things I wanted, but they ate up my play money too quickly. First world problems, I guess.

There are a lot worse things to do with your cash in Vegas!

Fashion choice is important when carrying! There are basically 2 ways to go about it. The most common is the "hide" mentality, the gun is small and there are no bulges to draw attention.

The "diversion" mentality is far less common. Wearing only an open black leather vest & matching chaps, nobody will notice the bazooka in your hands!

I never tried the diversion, let me know how that works for you.

Ivan

Not to pour salt in your wound but you'd be surprised how comfortable it is to shoot a CM9. I don't know how Kahr does it but the felt recoil is way less than it should be for such a small, lightweight firearm. I put the Hogue slip on sleeve over the grip and I could shoot it all day...and reasonably well I might add.

Same here, and you don't need cargo shorts, just shorts with nice deep front pockets - pocket carrying a 1#+ gun in the side pocket means your knee will get whacked good walking around. And this thing about skinny folks having a harder time carrying I fins to be total bunk. Us fat folks are already straining at the seams, adding a gun at the waist and it just sticks out like a colostomy bag. Skinny folks can easily wear a tucked in shirt and then a slightly loose overshirt for max concealment. Why us fat guys like pocket carry.......

The Runt Kahrs are pocket friendly.
And not that ugly to shoot.
I guess the biggest shortcoming is the short grip, not much to hold on to.
But it's only a 9 Thrill-er-meter!

If you like smooth DA triggers you may be in for a pleasant surprise when you get that CM9 to the range. I find of all my small carry guns both semi's and revolvers I shoot my PM9 the most accurately of all of them.
Pocket carry is a breeze if you get the correct pocket holster.

I had a PM9 for awhile but I never could shoot it with any accuracy. Others could, but it just didn't work for me. I ended up with a Beretta Nano, which I shoot much more accurately, despite its wretched trigger. Still don't understand why.
