Sig P938
My LCP has been a great pocket gun but have thought about getting another in 9mm. Found the G43, shield and S.A. offerings a touch big for pocket carry. Had shot a P938 and really liked it. Small enough but the price tag... I was settling in on a Kahr CM9.
Yesterday while browsing armslist saw a add for a P938 NIB for $500. My scam sensors started tingling. Anyway, met the guy an hour latter and found out he's retired boarder patrol agent. Has a bad habit of buying guns and never shooting them. My kind of seller! Have a Galco pocket protector coming and hope to break it in this weekend. Hope this one works out.

I was thinking of getting one of those until I saw a posting here about a guy that was having misfires due to a lint buildup under the hammer. Guess if you carried it hammer down, you wouldn't have that problem.

I love the little gun.... But don't fully trust it. I haven't had any major problems with it, but twice while carrying with a leather holster the magazine has come loose. Pretty sure it's probably been the way I've been sitting, but from all my years carrying many different guns, the P938 has been the only gun to do so. Also I don't like the way it pulls the bullet from the magazine when a rounds been racked. The bullet is half way out the magazine which again I haven't found with other guns.
Not trying to bash the P938, it's a great little gun. I'm back to my Glock 43 and Kahr PM9, neither of which are perfect either.

Mine (bought new in June for $455 - gotta love auctions ) has been fantastic. I've owned many small Nines (from the Rohrbaugh on up), and the P938 has impressed me as reliable, surprisingly accurate, and very easy to use.
Hope all of yours work well for you all.

I like mine. It is my primary carry gun. It rides in a carved avenger style holster made by 05CarbonDRZ. It always goes bang when I pull the trigger. It has very visable sights and fires a major cartridge.
I have carried Glocks and Kahrs also. The Glocks are bigger & I have had problems with a Kahr. Sent it back to the factory & they fixed it but I lost confidence in it. My Sig has always fired.

I really like mine. Accurate, easy to shoot and has great sights. Fed 124 to 135 grain ammo and the pistol runs flawlessly. Some 115 grain ball ammo can cause hang-ups, but I've not experienced trouble with high quality defensive ammo. I carry Speer Gold Dot LE 124 grain or Federal HST 124 grain. Winchester PDX works well too.

Had one for a while and it shot great. Sold it to a cop friend of mine who wanted it for a backup gun. 6 months later and he's still carrying it and loves the gun. He and his wife fight over who gets to carry it on his day off.

Owned and carried my P938 almost everyday for over a year now. 1300+ rounds through it. My wife will be getting one soon for EDC as well.
