If by Tiger Maple are you are referring to that VERY light (they call it Blond) stock-Browning used to put that of rifles? Very pretty but not for everyone. Don't know what the going rate for BL 22's are but if it was LNIB at that price, I'd probably buy it. Pictures would help a lot.

It's blonde maple but they made both. Plain blonde maple and then tiger blonde maple

I think that's a relatively recent issue. A local gun shop had both a .22 straight pull action rifle and a Mod 700 rifle in that maple stock within the last year.

As far as the Browning BL22 is concerned, it's a great little rifle. I have a deluxe engraved model with dark walnut stock that I bought new about 30 years ago. Very accurate and very reliable and the short lever throw is great for quick follow up shots.
Can't speak to the maple stock.

It probably is a recent gun. Just trying to find out if the tiger maple stocks are something rare and hold more value to gun.

I'm a sucker for pretty wood. Looked around on the net and couldn't find much either. If that picture is the gun you're talking about-I'd go $650 for it-rare or not.
