Default A fine old Colt

I picked up this old Colt 1903 .32 ACP the other day. It had been in one family for many years and when the original owner died the family found it in the house. It ended up going through the local sheriff's department and then after it all checked out a friend of mine with a local gun shop ended up with it. After the owner's family was talked out of their unrealistic price for it and something reasonable was agreed upon, he ended up with it and then I found it. It has what's left of the original nickel finish, and it functions perfectly but the barrel does have a small bulge, even though it doesn't affect how it works, I found a replacement for it. I only ended up paying a little over two big bills for it, and I always wanted one I could shoot and not worry too much about shooting it. The serial number puts it at being made in 1930, would love to know where this gun spent the early part of its life.

Nice find
That condition is bringing 4 to 5 bills online.
The poor folks must have taken 1 bill for it.
It should have the half cock notch on the hammer which I would prefer.
Regards
Mike
