I had asked many aboard here on Case knives. I ended up today with the Case Peanut in White. It was between the Tiny Trapper and Peanut. Biggest thing was most places here was $60.00 I found it today for 34.00 Very happy with it. I can see though have to be careful with it coming out of pockets with my keys. Its alot less bulk than my swiss army. However I have become very attached to the swiss its the camper model .I had it for 10 plus years before carrying it .I am sure it will still split the pocket time with the peanut.

You're gonna love it. Over on Bladeforums there's a thread called "Cult of the peanut, members". There have been nearly 3500 responses. Better add yours.

Thanks lol The biggest thing I wasn't even looking for one today. Found it at Tractor Supply.

My Case Peanut was my EDC knife. I have no use for a big knife at work. Unfortunately I misplaced it. Hopefully it'll turn up. I miss the little fella.

The internet has ruined Case knife collecting on the cheap. Very few do not know Case now and price Case knives at a premium. A little old lady's antique store in Galveston sells used knives starting at $5, but the used Case knives start at $45.

I swear I have not drunk the kook-aid, but I now have five peanuts, most recently a Rough Rider in amber jigged bone. My favorite is still the Case in yellow delrin and CV steel.

The Rough Riders are awfully easy to accumulate. This last one was $9.75, with free shipping from Amazon. Overall quality is on a par with Case.

I have a few Case knives, and there's no question the materials used, fit & finish are all first rate. That said, I still EDC a Swiss Army Evolution 11, mainly for the tools. It's more versatile than my Case medium stockman, and handier than a multi-tool.

Yes this is my very 1st case and the few hours I have had today in weak side front pocket. I can tell by a few open packages today its a keeper. And first rate quality. I am sure as time goes on they will wear with charm . In that pocket are car keys 3 rootbeer barrels a day and thats it. The swiss army camper that has rode that pocket for a long while has picked up it's own charm from this normal pocket wear with keys. I not really hard on any carry knifes. My lock blade rides rear pock alone always and is Flesh only. So the case will get normal light duty stuff. And oh yeah the longer blade on case stays pretty much a food slicer like cutting my sandwich sometimes just like my swiss did for years. Drives my wife nuts lol . Hey I always wipe that blade with hand sanitizer and good to go lol.

A minimalist kit that pretty much eliminates the need for a multi. The little channel locks will do much more than the needle-nose pliers typically found on a multi. I still carry a Micra, which means some overlap.
