Default Kimber K6S DCR

Didn't plan on buying one of these but I couldn't resist the good deal I got.

Took it out today. The trigger is outstanding. Recoil with 357 is a bit stiff but still manageable. Shot several different types of range and self defense ammo all with good results.

I like the fiber optic front sight but rubber grips would help with recoil.

125gr 357 loads were the worst as far as recoil but follow up shots were still very manageable.

The fit and finish is excellent. Overall a nice looking well built gun. Not too heavy for pocket carry either.

Not going to win any accuracy contest but at 10 yards rapid fire, it's good enough.

I keep looking at them but have not found "the deal" yet as you have. Very nice looking and shooting revolver. Congrats!

Super nice pistol. I've got an earlier K6s but hope to update mine when the Fiber Optic front sight comes available as an accessory item.

I've had one for 2 or 3 months now. It's my daily carry gun and I have shot it a lot -- but only with 38 Special and Plus P. I just can't bring myself to shot magnums out of a 23 ounce gun.

It handles the recoil quite well though all I have been shooting is 125 gr and 158 gr 357 and 158 gr 38.

For me its a J frame competitor but when I rented one i was shocked how heavy it is. But that is where the 6 shots come in and the slightly bigger frame than a j frame. It wasnt for me.

When it first came out I got to handle one at an LGS and I loved it. Recessed cylinders are rare, and the gun seems well built.

If I see one for a good price I would get it, but at the MSRP and prices I've seen it for - no thanks.

Every once in a while you see a deal. I bought mine used; a guy won it in a raffle but he wasn't a revolver guy. In fact, he was so not a revolver guy that he threw away the speed strip because he didn't know what it was.

It's complicated. As an example, Ruger has no official warranty, but everybody knows they take care of their products. Kimber's official written warranty is for one year to the original owner, but whether you are the 1st or 37th owner, if there's problem with one of their guns, they fix it.

I have had mine for about five months. It is a very well thought out gun. It is almost identical to my 640Pro in size and weight. In most cases, depending on the shape of the trigger guard, it will interchange holsters with S&W snubbies.
Over the years, I have customers that have had various issues with Kimber products and they have made it right every time. I have absolutely no fear Kimber not taking care of their customers.

Would love to have one , I got a price of 795 out the door with 5 buck background check but with only one year warranty I pass.
Guess my S&W 327 Pug will have to do for now.
