Default Tried a couple of triggers today

Stopped by the LGS near work to pick up the SR22 I had shipped. My final word on the trigger will have to wait until I have cleaned and lubed it, but my initial pulls were a bit of a disappointment. The DA pull is lumpy with a whole mass of stacking before the break. It almost feels like one of the hammer springs (it uses a nested pair) is bottoming out. The SA pull is OK. Guess when I take my girl for DA trigger training we will have to use something else.

Spotted a fullsize Sig P250 in 9mm in the used section. Never seen one in the flesh so I asked to take a look. It felt a lot heavier than I expected but well balanced. I think Sig go for big, heavy, slow moving slides with lighter recoil springs as it was easy to rack. What really surprised me was the trigger. Long? Yeah sure, but VERY smooth and consistent. Have to say I was tempted.
