Default project finished, what do you think

This has been in the works for about 3 years.I don't like shipping a gun using usps .and it would have to make many trips back and forth .found local artest to do the work .it had to have the bluing stripped ,then off to the engraver a local Indiana person (Terry miller), then back to the bluer(Classic Guns )in Crete IL. In the mean time i made a set of ivory grips and found a young lady ( Cathy Grandalski) into scrimshaw what i wanted. One of the hold ups ,finding a local smith that blued and polished exquisitely in my area. Laid out the idea to several and all they suggested was epoxy finish, Boy you get some strange answers on the web. Well here it is and it was designed as a family remembrance to my wife who passed away 6 years ago. her name is Rose.

That's pretty nice. You can feel the love just by looking at the photos.

Very sorry for your loss.

That awesome pistol is the second most beautiful Rose in your life. Congrats on a project well done.

Love the ivory - who did you find in the Hammond area that could polish and blue that well. (I have family in that area). Thanks for sharing.
