Default Another Ruger Six series addition

Picked up this nice 4" blued security six last month via an ArmsList trade transaction, if you can believe it. The guy was looking for a 3" GP100 in .38 special and I was looking for the six. Great shooting gun, too! The six series family is growing, and I like all 3....

Those look like good eye candy.
I wonder how do the two guns, Gp100 and Six, compare? Which has a better trigger action and is one better than the other over all in your opinion?

Gman51....accuracy-wise it's a dead heat between this and the 3" GP I had. Great shooting revolvers. The GP had a slightly lighter trigger pull. Both EXCELLENT guns. It's not that I didn't like the GP, but I prefer the no-longer produced guns of 30+ years ago, so that is why I went with the trade for the security six, as I like my speed six and security six snubs so much. Both guns have their attributes and one would be well armed with either. YMMV.

Your excellent foto skills make that old-timer Sec-Six look great! I wish Ruger would consider bringing back that frame size instead of concentrating on cheap, plastic pistols...
