Update - Knife from girted Birds eye Maple Blank
I used a section of the birds eye gifted to me by ACP230 to put on my latest knife. Still have plenty left to use later!
I just got a great piece of birds eye maple courtesy of ACP230 for future knife handles! This was a great surprise and truly thoughtful gift.
I'm looking forward to putting the wood on a future knife blade, or should I say knife blades because it's a large blank!

I haven't measured the thickness but I suspect it is .75". There is probably enough birds eye for 6-9 knife handle pairs.

It makes nice guitar necks as well.
Squeeze it and it's great on pancakes?
Mother Nature at her best!!!
Real popular back in the 60's for rifle stocks.
Looking forward to some photos please.
