Default Hunters Arms SxS

Well, actually two that I picked up in Tulsa last April. Both in 20 gauge and both with single triggers. One is in very good condition with lots of beautiful case colors, both are tight and on face with bores like mirrors. Anyone else shoot these old Hunters?

I had two Fultons a Hunters special and a LC all in 16 gauge, they were my bird guns and a good deal when I started buying them in the early eighties.

I have a Hunter Arms S X S , 12ga . with exposed hammers . It hung in an FFL's shop for over 3 yrs . The widow of the owner would come by once a yr to see if it had sold . I bought it , took it home and gave it a lot of TLC . I really love the old " doubles " the most, esp with exposed hammers . I just shoot target loads , it's a sweet gun .

Good looking guns. I don't have a Hunter Arms gun yet but do have an LC Smith manufactured by Hunter Arms. Great gun. No other gun sounds like it when it closes.....like a vault.

Nice guns, they were well taken care of through the years. Usually the cheaper guns were hunted harder. Tougher to find in 20 ga. The SxS is what I hunt with, usually with 2 triggers. Tulsa is a cool show, been there one time. It was on the bucket list. Larry
