Like the
Black Pearl the maker didn't want money, he wanted a specific weapon for his next project which I happened to have. After bit of negotiation about accessories the deal was made.
Prior to this trade my carry 45 was a very clean 457 which the Master Chief had bailed me out of a botched sight installation.
He properly put the Tritium Big Dots on it, crowned the muzzle and polished the feed ramp.
The 457 became my large caliber carry gun. Now that I have named the modified 4516 the
Black Pearl I think I'll call the 547 the
Black Brick.

Then there is the 547 that was long sought after. Several failed attempts to buy one in good condition at auction finally resulted in success. The auction photos featured lint on the weapon that appeared to be scratches. These "scratches" didn't bother me as I intended it as a carry gun. Once the 547 arrived I was quite pleased and surprised at it's excellent condition.
