Earlier this year many of you helped by showing and discussing your 22 rifles. I bought three nice 22 rifles discussed on that thread. I do not have and remain ignorant of the CZ rifles that I saw. Very few are available in Houston. Can anyone steer me in the right direction or give me an education (preferably with pictures) on the CZ 22 rifles? Thank you.

Ditto ..... been a member since I got my first CZ in 2011..... I now have way to many ..... in .22lr,.22magnum, 17HMR and .223.

When I finally bought my first CZ....a CZ452FS..22..I did the head slap on myself for waiting so long to try one. Then I started selling off some guns to buy more CZs...Now I have the CZ452FS....A CZ452 Varmint....A CZ 527FS..223....A CZ527 Carbine..223..A CZ 455 Lux...22....each and everyone...amazingly accurate!!

My favorite "Walking in Penn's Woods" rifles are a 452FS/AKA "Mannlicher " in .22 magnum....... followed closely by a 527FS in .223.

the CZ FS are just pure eye candy to me.....they also don't seem to know that a mannlicher stocked rifle is suppose to less accurate..

I have a CZ456 American. The finish is perfect and the bolt action very smooth, after a brief breaking period. Even with a light, tapered, free-floating barrel, it is the most accurate .22 LR I have ever fired, short of a Winchester 52. The 456 model isn't made any more, but the new ones look pretty good to me.

Another might be a Ruger M77 in .22 LR. I have two target M77s in center-fire, which have a trigger pull of 1.75 and 2.25 pounds respectively, no creep. At about 10 pounds, it is NOT a rifle you want to carry squirrel hunting.

Yep I've got 4 CZ Full stocks...... + my Ruger International in .243 and three 10/22s with full mannlicher stocks................. can't pass one up.

As I posted already - recently saw a LH one. Neat gun!
But since I'm the only Lefty in my family, not buying any more LH guns!

Instead of showing a photo of m 453 I thought I'd show you what they are capable of on a good day. BTW my 453 American is a beautiful rifle.

Oh man, I have a real weakness for some CZ 452/455's. I'm waxing a 455 Varmint in 22 mag now - after shooting for an hour this afternoon. Here's a ****** pic of a 452 FS, I need some new pics of this as the wood is spectacular.

I have 3 of them, one in .22 Magnum, and prefer them above all others.

I LOVE my CZ 453 American! At 75 -100 feet it makes one hole with almost any brand of .22 High Velocity ammo. I prefer the CCI or Federal for reliability but even Winchester Wildcat promo ammo shoots one hole groups.

The 453 I have has the Single Set trigger which I'm super glad I got because that model has been discontinued for yeas now. I do not know of any rifle currently made in any brand that even comes close to the quality, performance and value anywheres close to this price and it has great bluing and walnut too.

The Scope is a Leupold 3x9x33 Ultra Light with Parallax adjustment and Burris Signature Rings.

I have a CZ 452 FS, which I like a lot, but I like the CZ 452 Scout that I got for my kids even more. The FS is definitely a more refined rifle, but the Scout is just about the perfect size for a handy .22. I put a low power fixed power Leupold scope on it and it is a lot of fun.

I have three CZ bolt actions - a 455FS and a 455 Varmint in .22LR and 527FS in .223. They're all beautifully made, have good triggers, and are quite accurate. The next CZ rifle I'd like to buy is a 527 Varmint in .223, to take advantage of the magazines I have for the FS and as a centerfire step up from my 455 Vamint.

I'd love a 452 Varmint or 452FS, but they're unobtanium these days. I discovered CZ rifles just as the 455s were being introduced, so the 452s were gone by the time I went to buy. The shorter action and bolt throw of the .22LR 452 is noticeable compared to the 455, and the 452s have a reputation for better accuracy than the switch-barrel 455.

My wife has a CZ 455 American in .17 HRM with a Leupold 3x9 variable. Sudden death on ground squirrels.

I have serious lust for a rifle with a Mannlicher stock. CZs are especially attractive in that configuration.
