Default Wenge Stout Knife

I finished this one up today. I really like working with the Wenge wood. It takes a nice hand rubbed waxed finish. This is made from 3/16" steel which is thicker than I normally use but I do like working with it better than the thinner metal I've been using.
It's 1084 steel normalized, quenched and tempered. Thanks for looking

I am always impressed with your skills and the product you produce.

Not trying to be nosey, but what do you do with these knives?

I hope some of them get put to use. They are obviously well made and will last someone a lifetime (or more).

Thank you! I learn more with each knife made and apply that to the next knife.

I have been fortunate, all of the knives I have shared have gone on to find new homes!

That is a nice knife. The grind lines look sharp and the overall appearance is professional. Be careful or you hobby could become a job!

Another quality looking piece. Nice.

That wood grain is attractive too. Although I will always favor ebony when it comes to wood types.
