.....is a nice Ballester-Molina bought about 20 years ago for $200. Shoots tight groups to point of aim without a hiccup. I once considered having sights I could see better added, but thankfully decided against ruining it's original configuration. The grips are an early effort when I was first learning about grip making. They are "snakewood" or "lacewood". This naval model (Armada Argentina) has nice blueing which I am unsure as to original or a reblue. The heft and sound of the slide racking and slamming home just says old school quality. It served as my "camping in the Rockies" gun when I first moved out to Colorado. When I got a little more gun money that duty was replaced with a 4" M629. This Argentinian is a keeper !!
