Violated The Prime Directive
The owner of my LGS made me an offer I couldn't refuse. A pristine Colt Detective Special with a three inch barrel. Yeah, it was more than I should've spent,
but it's exactly the one I wanted. It won't be a safe queen,
I plan on carrying it as soon as I put some rounds down range and we get used to each other.

I have never regretted a purchase under the above circumstances. I am sure you won't either!

What's the Prime Directive? Wife's orders?
A fear that forum members won't approve of you carrying a Colt?

I really don't see a problem here. *s* And I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Evidently, you never watched Star Trek. The Prime Directive reads, "No Starfleet personnel may interfere with the healthy development of alien life or culture." Guess you could say I've brought in an alien to coexist with my S&W wheelguns.

Violation, call the smith and wesson police we have a jumper here.
I had 15 restored running husky dirtbikes. The misses said no more. Within a month I was up to 25 bikes. Pizza me off I'm worse than a Alabama tic I'm dug in any doing the chubby checker twist. Can ya feel me now baby.
A happy wife means a happy life doesn't work here for me. I thought I found the perfect woman to spend the rest of my life with. I been waiting for her change of life being married 43years, she's 63yo. She's changing day by day into something I never expected. My sweet wife could star on grumpy old women (movie). Of course I didn't help any. But it's great to see what I wake up to next, my sweetie wife or a pitbull that may chew my arm off. Lol kidding but it's close.
I love my wife dearly anyway. Hmm she did say no more guns, hmmm. Know what that means,,,,, let the buying begin,,,,,

Just remember, if you have to use it in a situation there is a good chance you won't get it back.
My daughters cut down and extensively modified S&W 44 special was taken as "evidence" after an armed robber ,who had the cash box , instructed all 4 employee's to go into a small room , face the wall and kneel down. She told me "He had the money and could have left but I wasn't going to kneel down so he could shoot us in the head, so I took my gun out and shot him, just like you taught me ."
Years of appeals dragged on and finally when she went to get it back, they had "lost" it. No they didn't loose it , it was a fine gun and some low life stole it. Be pepared to not get it back.
