Used Les Baer Premier II
Looking for a high end 1911, any thought's on these? LGS has one on consignment. 6 years old seems to have been fired very little. Optional tritium adjustable sights. What would one of these be worth used?

Maybe $1500 here, but in CA, maybe lots more.

I paid $1790 for my SS Premier II six years ago. You can get a new blued one in 45 for less than that from cj's 1911 Heaven. Low round count used, maybe $1400.
I sold a really nice one in 38 super on Gunbroker a couple years ago. Started at 1 cent and sold at $1600. But a Premier II in 38 super is a lot pricier.

California is a funny market, for handguns there are issues. They Have a Department of Justice "list" If a handgun is not on the list then it can not be brought in. Exception is C&R. Les Baer has several on the "list" so it would not have a premium. Something like a 610, or a 357PD would have a premium, to new for C&R, but no longer made by S&W. I was thinking $1500 would be a fair price, they want a bit more..

I saw Wilson Combat in your pictures, my other option is a Wilson Colt Series 80.. Two tone that also looks good. Less than the Les Baer. I have used Wilson parts in other 1911's and have be pleased. No experience with a complete pistol.

Oh no, I've always coveted a Les Baer.
Now this thread comes along.
And those feelings have been reawakened.
Help, please!

Used Les Baer Premier II
Just my $ .02.
I bought a new Premier II (3" group guaranteed) four years ago on GB for $1,795.00. Last December I bought a second new Premier II (1 1/2" group guaranteed) for $1,951.00, also on GB. Neither was in conjunction with a "bidding war".
I may be wrong, but the word that I have had in the past is that LB only extends his warranty to the original owner. I'd contact Brenda in LB Customer Service if this could be important later.

$1500 is too low in my opinion. See them new in my area @ $2k. Hear a lot of great things about a LB.
