Default 7" Hunter in 01 tool steel

I just finished this one up. It's one of two for a custom Christmas order. The blade is 31/4" with a 400 grit hand rubbed finish. The scales are stabilized redwood burl.

Beautiful little knife in an eminently practical size.

I haven't seen a blade made of O1 in years.

Thanks!
I was able to get some NOS of Sheffield steel in the original factory packaging. I've read good things about the 01 steel - abrasion resistance, good edge retention and easily field sharpened.

I do not have a website but I do have a face book page. I think it has to be accessed through face book though (not to savy on computer stuff). But I might look into creating a website.

Here is the second hunter finished up. It's going to be a father and son gift.
