NRA article on the Astra 300 German contract
The latest NRA Rifleman has an article on the German contract Astra 300 in 380 during WWII. So I took mine out, re waxed it, and took a few pix. The last picture is of it with it's big brother a Nazi proofed 600 rig. Hope you like it.

I've always loved the look of those Astras. Very nice.

These Astra's exhibit quality control that IMO is 2nd to none. I have several including a 300 and they are great pistols considering the time frame they were built in.

Moosedog, you and I share the same taste. I have a post war W. German Police holster for my Model 600 but don't have a WWII holster for my Model 300. Astras are very well made and are historically interesting too.

Recent purchase very smooth action. Not nazi stamped but cost less.
