My father in law gave me a revolver that was given to him bye aclose friend before he passed and I can't find anybody that has even herd of this type of revolver. It is a 32 Cal lg 6 shot s&w revolver with black finish that is German made by(Gerstenberger u. Eberwein) or so it says on the frame,it has a 2inch barrel not aTop Break,Tip Up or Hand Ejector as a matter of fact you have to disassemble a rod under the barrel that holds the cylinder to remove cylinder,it loads/unloads from the right side through a swing out piece, the barrel and frame have a eagle with a letter N under it it has moose antler with a 66 next to it,and has 5 numbers on both barrel and frame that start with 227XX that is all the markings on this gun, some hell identifying this revolver would be Highly appreciated as I am thing to find the rod that holds the cylinder

Welcome! One of the moderators will be along to move this to the Firearms - Other Brands section.

Many gun makers would put the chambering/caliber on them, sometimes to let the buyer know that information and sometimes to make them think they were buying a Smith & Wesson product.

In any case, from your description this one was made by a European company. Numrich Gun Parts may be a source of parts for it. Hope this is helpful.
