I'm impressed.
I sent a pistol bought through Bud's back to Ruger. It had a mechanical problem I didn't discover till I had taken the gun home.
It was picked up by UPS on 09/27, at Ruger's expense.
Today I got an e-mail from UPS. The pistol will be back on 10/05, two days from now.
As long as the box doesn't contain a pile of parts and a note saying "Sorry, you're hosed", I'm well pleased with the speed.
Someone here told me Ruger is quick, but that's fast.
Now to see the resolution.

Gotta love that!
Many years ago I took apart a trigger assembly for a 10-22, and couldn't reassemble it. I sent it to Ruger, and they sent me a new one!
I don't think I've ever heard a bad customer service story concerning Ruger.

I am not a Ruger owner but from my 50 years in this hobby I do know Ruger is a solid Company with excellent Customer Service. I have many friends and shooting club associates that sing Ruger's praises and do hear them.
Even though I don't own any Rugers I have watched them (over the years) place adds in the Gun Rags when there was a recall or issue with one of their products , and make it right - quickly. I can definitely see why owners like their CS policy's.

Ruger C S
I bought a Ruger GP 100 44 spl from Bud's last February, it had an incorrectly installed front sight. I obtained a RMA# from Ruger, shipped it on a Friday, two weeks later on a Friday I received the revolver back, rebarreled and good to go.

I have a 40+ year-old Ruger Standard that developed FTE problems due to a loose ejector. They took it back, fixed the ejector, and installed a new extractor for good measure, all for no charge. Turnaround time was a little over a week, which included a factory holiday. Amazing customer service! It makes me want to buy a another Ruger. Now, if they would only make a gun I actually want to buy...
