Recently sold my 9mm Glock 17 Gen.4 and bought my first Beretta.
It is a model 92FS 9mm. It is all steel, unlike a Glock.
In my eyes, it's head and shoulders above a Glock in the looks dept.
That said, I also just bought a Glock 17 Gen.3 with the less-aggressive molded grips
to see if I like it more than the Gen.4.

I like my guns with hammers too, but I LOVE my '65 Riviera more than ANY gun I own! Love to see some pics of yours as well!

I have a Glock now that I bought about 6 months ago. The round it shoots peaked my curiosity more than the gun itself. It's a Model 40 10mm 6" barrel. I've always been interested in the 10mm ballistics but not autoloaders at all.

As much as I've spent loading and casting for the 10mm I just can't seem to like the gun. I need more time with it but I'm not sure it'll ever get a chance at this point. I really need to find a 610

Of course you mean all metal. As it is not all steel.

I now have two. A piecemeal G26 that I started with, and I recently acquired a glock 17L. The balance on the 17L is amazing.

I inherited a revolver bias from my grandfather, who really hated the plastic fantastics. But if he had still been alive when I got my G26, and seen how cheap, simple, and durable they were, I do believe that he might have liked them.

I once own a Glock 30. It was well designed and engineered, very accurate and reliable, and the softest shooting 45 auto I have ever fired. It was everything a quality gun should be, except for being plastic, and IMO, aesthetically lacking. Shoot what you like, and like what you shoot.

The see through mags in my photo are ETS mags. Not a big deal for the G26, but since I live in a ban state, the G17 10round ETS mags are half the price of a OEM mag.

Theres only a few things I don't like about a Glock, the plastic sights, blockiness makes it frustrating to conceal, grip angle, and lack of a thumb safety are the main things. Aside from that its fine gun and I've shot several and I was quite accurate with them all so I don't know why people would dislike them. As far as pretty guns go, nowadays there really aren't any black/plastic guns that are attractive at all including rifles and shotguns.

To me, the S&W M&P full size and the 4.25" versions are the best looking polymer pistols.
I don't usually go for colors but I like the FDE/Black versions and recently saw a Ghost Gray/Black that was even better looking.
When they come in .45 and I have the extra cash.....

Over 65% of all our law enforcement outfits can't be wrong can they?
I prefer the model 22 .40 caliber. Last time I read about stopping power
the .40 was rated number one. Glock and .40 Hydra-Shok. A comforting
combination. IMO

And most are leaving the 40. In real world situations there is little difference between the main 3. One guy drops dead from a 9 and the next guy absorbs 40/45 like spit wads. And you can mix and match that combo anyway you want.

I'm not dissing the 40, I have 3 of them. But there is something to be said for practicing with 9 for $180+/- per case and 40 for $220+/- per case. That $50 difference is an extra case of 9mm for every 4 cases. 4 cases of 40 is 5 cases of 9 for the same money. It also beats guns up less

Have all the 9mm versions and all the 45 versions other than a g21 and I swore I’d never own one. You’ll be happy. Congrats.

Nothing wrong with a Glock, they're good tools. Just because it may not be collectable doesn't make it bad.

I just got a glock 19 gen 5 a couple of weeks ago. It aint my model 37 or 65 or Colt 1911 .45, but it has run flawlessly through 400 rounds and is as very accurate pistol. I like it. No malfunctions of any kind. Strange looking primer strikes though.
Peace,
Gordon
