Default C39v2 thread and question

Apparently I bought a stinker . I posit the following questions:

After reading an earlier AK tread, I assume that the issue with the C39v2 is the bolt carrier group being poorly treated and not able to withstand the constant battering.
Question: Are standard replacement bolt carrier groups interchangeable with the C39v2? Can you just drop in? I would assume that you would have to headspace the actual bolt-if so how hard is it to do? I know absoutely nothing about the AK other than what I read and yes, I bought the C39v2 based on the Milled receiver without doing my homework. SO basically I'm stuck with a firearm that I will probably not be able to sell without taking a beating. Is it worth it to spend a couple-three hundred dollars on the new bolt carrier parts to have a good serviceable gun? In other words, I consider the money paid lost. DO I sell it and take the lick and be left with no AK or do I spend the money to bring it up to snuff? I mean it would seem to me that changing out the problematic parts, I would be left with a good serviceable AK on par with the Russial ones albeit at a mich higher overall cost than originally anticipated.Either way I realize I'm gonna have to pay for my mistake. Thoughts woulf be greatly appreciated
Gary

From my googling it is a lottery. Some bolt carriers mushroom and shave at the rails, others don't. It's like with their FALs, some shoot straight, and others don't. Typical Century QC issue IMHO.
