Default Sig SP2022

I traded for a Sig pistol last week, a SP2022 9mm that is often referred to as a "poor man's P226", as it is about half the price of a P226. This is a very nice pistol. It is accurate, lighter than the P226, less expensive, and so far has been utterly reliable. It has digested a variety of ammo without a hiccup.

The Sig SP2022 pistol is apparently carried by most every Frenchman with a badge. France purchased over 200,000 of these pistols for various LE agencies.

There are not many concealment type holsters offered for the SP2022. If anyone knows of a maker for this product please share the info.

I have one as well, very pleased with the accuracy and it's been 100% reliable. The only downside is the price of the magazines.

I agree with all of the above, it shoots fantastic, I like the hammer fired 2022 much better than the striker fired 320. Alien Gear makes a very comfortable IWB holster, that I use in jacket weather, and I cringed a little when I forked over $40 bucks for that 3rd magazine. But it's never failed to perform, with somewhere around 700-800 rounds through it.

Very nice! Often noted as one of the most underrated Sig's. Only thing I hear some complain about is it feels/sounds like the trigger has two reset points. Kind of a double click, if you shoot by the reset that could be frustrating, if you're a full release kind of shooter you probably wouldn't pay it any attention.

Yes, Sig Sauer is VERY proud of their magazines. My SP2022 came with three fifteen round mags. I dug through a tub of used mags at a LGS and found a ten round mag for $7.00, so I bought it.

There were also seventeen twelve round .357 Sig/.40 S&W magazines for the Sig SP2340/2022. These were mostly VGC, a few of the blue ones looked new. The manager offered those to me for the same price, providing I bought them all.

Topgun supply has SIGPRO ,magazines for comparable prices to M&P magazines if any one needs them. They also have the Bladetech stingray belt holster in stock. I have a few older bladteck holsters for Sigs and they are of decent quality.

I am not a Kydex fan; I prefer leather holsters. My Sig P250f .45 a.c.p. and P250c 9mm came with a factory polymer holster, I don't care for either of them. I guess they would work well in the pouring down rain. I do own a couple of the Glock Sport/Combat polymer holsters which I use in inclement weather.
