Default Picked up this little gem

My local shop had this and I thought what the heck I'll throw out an offer. To my surprise he said sold. Not in the greatest shape but it functions as it should. I don't know much bout the serial numbers on these but I believe it's a Model 1 Remington Smoot in the 30 RF. Four digit serial number.

Nice. Is there ammo available for it? Sweet piece of history.

Pretty scarce. I probably wouldn't shoot it if there was. However, I wouldn't mind having a vintage box of ammo to go with it. I'll have to pay closer attention at local auctions, as I've seen them previously on occasion.
