Default 1911 Grip Panels

Need some advice on a pair of 1911 grips that I recently acquired. I intend to sell them because I’m not a 1911 guy and I simply have no need for them.

I purchased a group of factory S&W target stocks that were obviously take-offs. They were all in 70’s or 80’s era Pachmayr boxes.

This was the case for the 1911 panels, as well.

They appear to be walnut with a clear finish applied. They are not marked in any way.

I suspect that they are nothing special, run of the mill grip panels, but I wanted to tap into the experience and expertise of the forum members before I put them up for sale.

Any information as to which brand of 1911 they may have originally come on and estimated value is greatly appreciated.

Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving.

Check out Ebay. They always have tons of 1911 stocks at all pricing covering a variety of styles and types.

Basic Colt style. No idea if they are OEM, lots of folks have made them. They would look nice on an old Commercial model for sure!

1911 stocks are PLENTIFUL! The right person may buy them for a low price. I have not had a lot of luck selling any 1911 stocks. Your results may vary. The ebay idea is a good 1 to get pricing. Good Luck! Bob
