Ruger Blackhawk Stainless 45 Convertible
Are these made of unobtanium? Can't find one any where. Are they only made in short runs during a season, or are they not made at all anymore?
Ruger® New Model Blackhawk® Convertible Single-Action Revolver Model 5243
I'd call Ruger, but they are closed now.

That is a Lipsey's exclusive. It is a current offering on Lipsey's web site. I'd start by calling them. (225) 755-133
However, it appears this was a 2014 exclusive. More recent production would have been to fill reorders from Lipsey's.
Just in case you do not already know I'll add that no reloading manual approves this mid frame for loads that were famously known as being for Rugers only.

Excellent point. Although it makes for a much handier gun, it does preclude monster Ruger only reloadings for the .45 LC. If I am correct only the .44 mag is on the bigger frame.
Not really a problem for me as the main reason I would want one of tese guns would be to shoot .45 acp in them rather than the long colt.

Keep your ammo to SAAMI specs and everything will be fine. If you want more power get an X frame.
