Default HK Prices

Over the past year or so, I have noticed that many HK models seemed to have dropped in price. The P2000 are around $600 now and the P30 and even the HK45 are around $700, at least at Cabela's. However, the USP series still seem to be quite a bit more. Anyone know why that might be? They are all polymer framed guns, and on paper the newer models offer more modern features.

If I understood correctly, H&K reduced the price of some guns with the explanation that their new US factory will lower their costs.
