CALLING ALL PIMP GUNS!
Well the South side of Chicago Is the baddest part of town and if you go down there you better just beware of a man named Leroy Brown
WIN_20180218_08_08_08_Pro by leeroy!!!, on Flickr
He got a thirty two gun in his pocket for fun
He got a razor in his shoe
According to Urbandictionary.com and I quote
A Pimp Gun is:
1. Any gun that has a high polish chrome, nickle, stainless or gold finish particularly with pearl or other flashy grips. It could also be a glossy black gangster gun (Mac10 Mac11 or UZI) with gold plated parts.
2. Alternatively, any cheap chrome pistol made by Lorcin, Jiminez, or Jennings, generally worth less than $100.

Yeah, just got it last week. 1981, I believe it's from a batch of nickels they ran in the early 80s as the SN falls right in there.

It seems to me that a real semi-auto pimp gun would have the ejection port on the top of the slide. That way, when the pimp twists it sideways to fire, the shell won't hit him in the face.

according to George Patton only a pimp in a new Orleans ***** house would own one of these
so I guess I need to move to the cresant city and open a house of ill repute.

Those tauruses aren't too expensive, although the gold plating could cost some money. But just because it's a gun that's for a pimp doesn't mean it has to be a cheap gun.

Got this one from a guy named Leroy in South Phoenix. He called it his "7-11" gun. I have no idea why.

Well here's my contribution an Astra 400. How about a case colored frame, engine turned bolt and trigger and the small parts are gold plated. I'm sure any pimp would be glad to tote this in his hood. I can't even imagine what it cost for someone to get this work done!

This pretty little S&W sporting lady from about 1887 is still ready for business.
S&W 4th Model "Pocket Gun" in .32 S&W (refinished before I got her)
Thanks for looking at the little lady.
God bless,
Birdgun

Way ahead of ya. I've posted this before in "Guns & Knives" threads, I call it my Custom Continental and an El Dorado too pic.
H&R in .32 S&W. It's nickeled, has shiny black grips, and was also cheap and under $100.
The razor was granddad's, but he wasn't a pimp, it was his daily shaving implement.

About 15 yrs ago was at a Northern Ohio gun auction and they
had a Bergman 9mm pistol that was done the same way as your
Astra. I bid it up to $140 and it stalled, then auctioneer brought
connection to Big Jake movie and it took off. Brought $800+.
There is video on YouTube on the processes used and Spain was
the major place these guns were done.

Well, I know this one qualifies although it needs mother of pearl stocks, or ivory:
This one, I dunno, I think it's a rapper's gun but, well, who knows:

Pearl handled revolver per Gen Patton:
Thanks for looking at my wife's faux pearl handled revolver.
(Sorry Gen Patton. My wife's not a pimp.)

Fella goes into a bar. Sits next to a guy who could double for the Hulk.
A football game was on the TV, and the Green Bay Packers were playing.
The fella was not a Green Bay fan, and shouted "Only street walkers and football players live in Green Bay!"
The Hulk stood up and faced him, yelling "Look, you ***, my wife is from Green Bay!"
Fella says sheepishly, "What position does she play??"

I guess we have that in common also, Linda. It wasn't my first cap pistol, nor was it my last in my formative years, but I remember it well. When I found this fine specimen, I had to have it. It sure brought back memories.
I think this one was my first toy gun - I was two years old. As the twig is bent, the tree's inclined.

Let's not forget the original Saturday Night Special, the Raven Arms P-25.
