Default How difficult is it to install a Volquartzen

I just ordered a Volquartzen trigger to install in my Ruger Mark lll 22/45 lightweight. Has anybody here done it and are there any tricks to installing it?
Thanks in advance for any insights.

Trigger, or hammer, sear??

Regardless, yes I have done it on several MII's and 10/22

It is not "hard", depending on your mechanical ability and patience

Kinda like taking apart a MII once you learn the "trick" it's easy

There are videos, and lots of info on VQs website and RimFire Central

I have done a few and as previously stated it takes some time with occasional frustration but it is all worth the effort. I would recommend getting the trigger bushing and sear which lets you remove the mag disconnect and turn the gun into pretty much a MK II. This guy's website has a mountain of information and some of the links below may help. Watch the sear spring placement as that is important and one thing I did that helped me was using a flat piece of wood held in a vice and inserted much like a magazine which held the frame steady so I could work on it without needing three hands. Pay attention to the final adjustments to the VQ trigger as improper adjustment of those two screws will not allow the trigger to reset and it will drive you nuts until you understand they need to be backed off fully and then slowly screwed in.
