Now THERE'S a pretty extreme position.
Do you mean to say that if you had a choice between owning NO guns at all and owning a Ruger P-series you'd choose to have no guns?
Can't say I've ever seen anyone on a gun board take that position about a particular firearm. Care to elaborate on why?

The only thing they have in common with a High Point is that they are big, and heavy. That's pretty much where the similarity ends.
True, except that the Ruger P90 is smaller and lighter than a 1911.

I sold a P90 a few years back. Had a hard time selling it. (not a high demand item) Not sure why I did, because I liked it. Low & behold, a classified site had 1 listed. I picked it up 2 weeks ago for $300. Nicer than my 1st 1. It functioned quite well at the range Wednesday. Spent shell casing dates it to 10/2000. Bob

I inherited a P95DC from a friends estate. Not too much to look at but I can shoot it really well, it functions flawlessly, eats anything I feed it, and with a grip sleeve fits my hand quite well. It came with a range bag and about a dozen spare mags, so a bonus there!!

Here in western Montana I have seen them for up to $400.00. I would buy em all day long for $200.00.

If I found one at a good price, I'd buy it as well.
I had a stainless P89 for a couple of years. Big and blocky, but the thing shot whatever would go in it's chamber and it was pretty accurate. Not the prettiest gun in the world, but the thing ALWAYS worked. I'd buy another one.

May I urge you not to write such things as:a gun I don't need at all''!
All of us here have wives that might read that and then use this so as to slow us down towards our quest towards gun happiness.

I do see them from time to time in around the 379 plus tax range , The ones I jumped on are low to mid 200 to 300 range . Some people did have one that they could not hit any thing , but most shoot good .

A lot of people are saying "Ugly". I guess that's in the eye of the beholder. I liked the look and feel, but I'm 6', and 245lb, with XL hands. Still haven't been to the range with it yet, but I'll post up targets, and behavior report when I do make it out.
