Default TALO Edition Guns Q

I’m picking up a new in box TALO Gen 4 Glock 17 this week and wanted to know more about it. This particular G17 has special sights installed at the factory and if there’s ever a problem I’m supposed to contact TALO. Has anyone had any experience w/TALO good or bad? The price OTD is $464 including tax which seems very good.

I've owned Talo guns in the past but never had a reason to contact them. There are a few different Talo models available. If it's the Glo Pro model, the sights are made by Ameriglo. I have Ameriglo on my Glock 19. Excellent sights. I think you will like them. And yes, $464 is a GREAT price considering the sights as a set are about $100.

I've owned a couple of TALO models of different makes, and looked at several others. In general, their added features are largely cosmetic, although sights are certainly functional as well.

The price you got seems to be a very good one...standard Glocks (new) sell for that or more around here.

Took the new in box Gen 4 G-17 to the range today. It came w/the Amerigo sights and they are really the ticket to fast & accurate combat shooting. At 25 yards I was able to keep everything on the paper using a standard Q target. While Glock claims a 5.5 lb trigger mine measured 7.5 (repeated three times) lbs. but was no problem for me. Perfect weapon for my upcoming LEOSA qualification.
