Beretta BL3 I got it
A couple of weeks ago I posted about this gun I was looking at and what the chokes were. Well I measured it and it was improved modified on top and modified bottom. Thanks for the help, and recommendations, I bought it for 500 out the door. I took this pic after cleaning it after a very good range session.

Very nice looking Beretta you have there. I myself am now totally addicted to trap and shoot registered with 2 Krieghoffs but it took me 5 other trap guns ( I still own) to get there. Nothing like a day of shooting at targets all flying through the air. Enjoy that Beretta!

I purchased a Beretta BL-3 20 gauge in the mid 1970s. I put thousands of rounds through that shotgun. I handed it down to my son a few years ago and it still going strong. They are great shotguns and a real value on the used market.
As to chokes measuring the amount of constriction if you have a deep bore mic is the best way. Beretta stamped the barrels with either letters or stars. You may have to remove the fore end to see how it was marked. They are stamped, if i remember correctly, on the left side of the barrels the markings are stars * for full ** Imp. Mod. *** Mod and down the line.
Some years were like mine with the chokes stamped on the top barrel
Again congratulations on picking up one sweet shotgun.

I've owned plenty of shotguns and the Beretta O/Us are some of the best handling guns ever made.
Sometimes the BL series and earlier Snipe guns can still be found for a reasonable price. And the early guns are light and great for carry when upland hunting.
