Custom engraved carry gun
My most carried gun is my Glock 43, so thought I'd get something personalized on it. My other hobby is playing poker, been playing for over 20 years now. Searched around for something and came up with this. Hopefully don't end up like old Wild Bill though

I know of a fellow that didn't live to collect his winnings while holding a similar hand . . .

No concerns that the engraving would come back to bite the OP in the event the gun was used in a sd shooting?
Very nice work, but I’d leave it in the safe except for trips to the range.

That was my first thought too. It is nice, but I would personally not use it in a self defense situation unless it was the only gun available.

I like it...nothing wrong with personalizing your favorite firearms
Smith and Wesson did a Model 36 up that way some years back
I've had my set for more than a dozen years now

That particular engraving is a jinx for the guy holding it. Not like it says something menacing. Like "I don't dial 911". Or "I hate people"

Yeah I'm not too worried about carrying it and any consequences. It's a personal engraving for me, just a symbolic poker hand that everyone knows.

A, I think it is cool. My personal EDC is engraved with my Senior Chif's anchor.
B, the engraving is irrelevant in a shoting. Either you had to defend youslf or you didn't. even if it said something really nasty in re a gun fight, like "Smile - Wait for flash" or "Who needs 911" the key is the overall situation, not anything you put on the gun to personalize it.
Please excuse the typos-new tablet, hard to control, too lazy to edit!
