Question Fair trade for a unconverted saiga?

Is a non sportized Eddystone M1917 in G-VG a fair trade for a LN unconverted 7.62x39 16in barrel saiga?

Depending on condition your 1917 could be worth well more than $1,000! How much is the Saiga worth. $4-500?

JMO. The Eddystone is worth more. (Neater too.)

No you would be getting short end of stick. Neutered Saigas are fairly plentiful and not as rare or valuable as their owners think. All the "banned from future import" hoopla doesn't make them worth any more than they are as shooters.

The prices on a unmolested saiga is up as far as I know. I think the 223 & 308 saiga s are worth more over the 7.62x39. Around $750 to $1,000 is about right for a saiga in its orginal condition. The eddystone in its orginal condition you have to check the online values. Go to IZHMASH Saiga-12 Shotguns for the prices on the saiga s.

Better check this out...Holy hell - what's going on with prices? - Saiga 7.62 X 39 - forum.Saiga-12.com

We need to keep up to date on this stuff I’ve seen values go up over night. It can also drop like a rock too. I wouldn’t sell a saiga yet. Does Wall Street know the change in prices? Lol

I purchased my Russian Izmash Saiga Sporting rifles to hunt with. I kept them orginal. I hate taking a nice expensive hunting rifle in the rain or snow. One trip while sitting in the pines during a snow storm I looked like the frozen guy on Jeremiah Johnson. Not good for a $1,000 Rifle. I worry about the wood stock swelling.
