Default Ulster Knife Company

I'm cleaning up one of my father's knives and it is a small 2 blade (2.5 inches closed)made by Ulster Knife Company. it has an emblem on the handle that is the shape of a crescent moon (crescent pointing down) with a box suspended in chains. in the box there is the letters "UCT" on it. at first I thought it my be the emblem of the Teamster's Union but after looking at the emblem it isn't the Teamster's. for a time he also belonged to the confectionary union but that emblem isn't correct either. any ideas on what "UCT" might mean?

I bought my dad a small 2 blade, yellow scaled Ulster penknife
back in 60s. I bought it from a local Rexal drug store that had
a small gift dept. I was just a kid so it probably was only $2-3.
I may be wrong but I thought the knife was made in Ireland.
It may have said that on blade. Dad liked the knife and it was
made of good steel. Maybe the letters have something to do
with political divisions in Ireland at the time.
