Hello All
my friend is selling his Taurus 38 special revolver stainless. stamped made in brazil assembled in USA
not the cheesy new stainless look, but like the model 60 S&W.
the serial number lookup tells me its a model,
HG-M85-SS3
made in 1989
I never owned a Taurus but this gun is like a smith and Wesson model 60 in fit and finish. the trigger is one of the better small revolver pulls I have tried out ever both DA and SA. possibly someone smoothed it out.
the revolver checkout tells me this one is in good condition.
I am very impressed with this Taurus and can pick it up for 225 bucks.
I have read some older ones were pretty nice.
wanted some feedback on this model not Taurus in general I have seen enough of that.

I have 3 85's and like all of them. 2 are DAO and I carry the stainless most all of the time. All of them are from the late 80's to mid 90's.
Best of all, no silly locks.

19 ounces unloaded.
Feels good in the hand, time will tell.
Also came with a Blackhawk pocket holster.
4 screws to hold it together.

I have 2 tauri (?) 85’s....both benefited from wolf reduced spring kits and are awesome

I think the M85 is the Gun that Taurus does best.

My 85 in stainless circa 1990. Love this revolver.
