Default Remington 1911 Mag Value ?

In a recent pistol purchase the seller threw in two brand new Remington 1911 factory SS 8 round magazines for which I do not need and am going to try sell off to help offset my purchase expense.

What would be a fair and reasonable asking price for both seller and buyer to get these moved ? I plan on paying the shipping.

Thanks.

I would pay $30, but I’m not prone to buying more expensive 1911 mags.

Check with Remington to see what they sell them for.

If the mags fit the gun you bought I would just keep them. There is no such thing as too many mags. It would cost me more in time to go stand in line at the Post Office than what they would sell for.

For .45 mags, I would not expect to get more than $10 each (that's what they are in my LGS misc stuff box). Unless they were Wilson Combat, which get a bit more.

Shipping in a flat rate box will be ~ $7.

If you knew the original maker, not Remington BTW, they probably would sell originally for $18-24 or slightly more. A reasonable price would be 1/2 that figure.

They are probably Metalform, Check-Mate or Mec-Gar which together make nearly all 1911 magazines as original equipment for just about all makers.

I would say $15 each would be tops
Realistically $10 each to move them
As previously mentioned.....keep them and use them
