Default Springfield RO Elite Compact

I have a S&W E Series Round Butt 1911 and love the gun but wanted a 1911 in 9mm just, well,,, because. Saw the Springfield and had my LGS pick one up for me. I gotta tell you,,, This gun makes me look good. I shoot this thing better than any gun I own, from my SR22 to my 686 6 inch. Excellent trigger and a slide that works like butter. My old hands are having a bit of a hard time racking my E Series, but the Springfield is like racking a .22. All in all, a real pleasure to shoot and carry. I see that S&W makes a 9mm 1911 and would like to try one for comparison.

I have the SA RO Elite compact in 45. Runs like a clock and drills the target center. Bought it this past winter (with kit that had a range bag, 4 mags and holster) It's the first sub full sized 1911 that I've been able to shoot that well. The officer sized grip and 4" barrel is a great combination. If I found one in 9mm, I would not hesitate to buy it as my full sized 9mm RO runs great too.
