Default Interarms Walther PPK/s

I have an Interarms Walther PPK/s from the mid 80's. Stainless with 2 mags. Fired maybe 2 clips, and been in the safe since then. Can anyone help me with the value?

Thank You,

Pete

(Assuming a .380),,$400 to $500+ from what I've seen. The upper limits if it has the box and papers, ect.

Many of them (PPK/S) offered for sale in the 600/700 range but not many takers it seems.

Just my observations,,

If you actually want it to sell and sell quickly, $500 or less.

Take some good photos and post it here for $600. Be patient and I think you’ll get it. I just paid $600 for a truly mint (S&W) PPK last month and your Interarms version is worth more. The plastic/Airweight folks here will ignore it - but many others will recognize that there will be no more quality steel .380’s produced ... ever.

Yeah I feel like you'll get $600. I sold a nice one from the 70's with a box for $700 recently.

Thanks for the info. Not sure if I am selling it, but probably. I dread the thought of figuring out pics. I am a relatively technical person, just not so much with cell phones, digital cameras and the computer

Worth is relative.
Someone bought a used S&Walther PPKs for $755 yesterday on an auction website.
My Blued S&Walther PPKs 380acp will shoot to point of aim/XXX at 20yds offhand if I lean against a wall..... priceless!!!
Our Stainless one, close in production, also makes shooters smile.

Like some S&Ws.....some Interarms versions have problems as well....... most don’t.
How does yours run with different types of ammo?

Mine is my favorite tropical carry besides a Snubby.... even asked the ladies to design a proper pair of cargo shorts to handle the PPKs/Snubby as if it were not there..... steel is real!!!

Can't answer your question about ammo. Fired one clipfull from each clip. Cleaned it and put it away. In the few autos I have , I shoot ball ammunition. That is what they were all originally designed for.

Sam Cummings contracted with Mid South Industries in Gadsden, Alabama to have these produced for Interarms; they went under the name of Ranger Manufacturing for most of the time the PPK/S was produced there.

They started around 1979 and were well-settled in by the mid-80s. Those guns have a good reputation. If you put it up at a fixed price in the 600-700 range as suggested, you should find a buyer. As an educational exercise, I suggest you go to Gunbroker and put “Interarms PPK/S” into the search window. There are currently 20 plus of these on offer, and you get an idea what other people expect.

You are correct. However, in many cases the term clip is used as slang vernacular for a magazine. Easier to say, and I am sure nobody had an issue understanding what I was referring to.

Thank you for your input
