Beautiful knife. What’s the grind?

That's a real beauty.
My first thought was that'd look good in a mahogany friction sheath.

Thank you! I call it a partial flat grind with a secondary bevel.
OAL is 7-3/4" with a 3-1/2" blade.

I definitely think mahogany leather would set it off.
Thanks Snubbyfan!

What would really set it off, would be for it to be shown in my meager collection. Come on now opaul, and share the maker's name, and the information that you have on that great looking knife.

The information he'd be sharing would be how long he spent making it.

Beautiful and functional. I really like a knife that size for general field use. Might find that one too pretty to use, though.

Your work just gets better and better, and all the ones you've shown us look really useful as well as handsome.

What steel is that one?

Nicely done. Like everything about it. IMO perfect size for an everyday carry outdoor knife. Perfect combination of components and the white spacer adds a little panache.

Default I've Done It Again

I'v done it again! I didn't read far enough into the thread, before Opening my mouth, and inserting my foot. I didn't realize that you are an accomplished knife maker, opaul. Please accept my apology. I have become a "Blatherskite", in my old age, and the time has come, for me to Look, listen, and keep my mouth closed. I can't afford to loose any more self respect, or any of the respect of others.
