Default Taurus PT111G2c 9mm

I picked mine up this morning. Some had posted that theirs was soaked in oil. Luckily, mine was not. The trigger will take a few rounds to get used to. It was a little gritty at first but after dry firing 25-30 times it is much better.

The slide seems much easier to work than the Shield 9mm. I have no problem with it. I do have a problem operating the slide release knob. I think some lube and use will correct that. For a total cost of $180 including transfer fee, it seems like a good deal to me and it is really a comfortable fit in my hand. The range will be be the final test.

If anyone is interested in a Bushmaster AR you should check Combat Armory.

I've had three of them, and have been very impressed. I keep giving them away to friends/family.

I'd say don't fiddle with the slide release and just slingshot the slide.

Think of the trigger as a single action trigger with a a lot of take-up. If you are so inclined, you can get a trigger off ebay that turns it into a true SAO with no take up or trigger safety that you will have to carry Condition 1, which I am considering for mine.

Oh, and loctite down the rear sight, they have been known to work loose and get lost.
