Winchester M94 Flat Band
Flat Band model with the long wood ahead of the forearm band and flat band behind the front sight.These were only made for a couple years, '47 & '48 IIRC. I look at M94's when I find them and haven't seen one of these in a few years. Just picked it up a couple days ago, really nice condition being used but not abused.

I got one of those too. I have it it about 10 years or so. It is my only pre-64 lever action Winchester, and it having the flat band and long forearm wood was the only reason I bought it. I hope it definitely adds to the gun's value.

I picked up a flat band a years ago. It was a nice rifle, but not quite up to top collector condition, so I ended up selling it a few years ago.
