Default i went international

Ruger 10/22 International that is. picked this up yesterday outside a local shop. the original owner had brought it in wanting to sell it. the shop owner passed on and asked me if I was interested. I went outside with the gun owner and made a deal. NIB with paperwork, scope base, lock etc. always liked the looks but never got serious because of the price. lee

I loved the looks of those - my friend who has one says it's not the most accurate 10/22 he has, but it sure is the prettiest. Very classy.

I like it, nice deal. Mine is a carbine model given to me by my dad one Christmas back in 80's. My dad never gave me much so I will never get rid of mine. They are very reliable and usually pretty accurate. Enjoy!

Love the International/mannlicher look....... my wife bought me one of the green/black stock one's in the early 90s........ about 10 years ago I picked up a couple more in walnut one blue and one stainless....... both were IIRC around $250 used. Until recently (2016) you could not hunt with semi's in Pa. so they were strictly range guns. Couple of "rich" guys around here bought 2 at a LGS..... quickly tired of them and traded them in in almost new condition.

Unlike other 10/22s they stay pretty much stock..... due to the stock!!!

While not the most accurate .22s I own ( those are CZs) they are ok for field use.......with small Weaver 1-3X 20 shotgun scopes......that look jsut right on these guns.

Now that we can hunt small game with semi's in Pa. mine will see some fiedl use!!!

My wife has the International and I have the M-1 Carbine version. Everyone should have a 10-22. A classic!

That's my favorite Ruger 10/22. I got one over 30 years ago when a local shop was going out of business (had been looking at it for some time, they marked it half off and it went home with me). It has had thousands of rounds through it since, my kids shot it a lot and so did I. Showing some wear and tear now, scratches and dings from years of use. Always dependable and shot great, hasn't been out of the safe recently though (mostly shooting my muzzle loaders lately) need to get it out next range day and put some 22's downrange again

Very nice for sure! Recall seeing the glossy pics of this model and the available 44 mag International in the 1972 Gun Digest. I would imagine the 44 magnum International is a rare sought after model these days. Thanks for the post.

I've always liked the looks of the International model Ruger's. I am a Winchester .22 addict, but this International reached out and grabbed me by the leg a few years ago at Tulsa. I could have sold it there the same day and made money on it.

I've always liked the looks of a mannlicher stocked rifle. With the 50th anniversary 10-22's they offered a nice walnut stocked International I sallied forth to a LGS and they had four of em and let me choose the nicest to me wood and went home with it. Common rumor with full stock rim fires is that they usually have poor accuracy, not mine it's a shooter. Enjoy that beautiful one!
